<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably install an image forming unit, image reading unit and document feeding unit without becoming unbalanced in weight when opening upper portions of casings of the units when the above units are stacked over each other. <P>SOLUTION: The image reading unit is turnably linked to the top of the image forming unit by a first hinge means, and the document feeding unit is turnably linked to the top of the image reading unit by a second hinge means. The second hinge means is disposed at a side edge on one end side across a document feeding means of the document feeding unit, and locking means for blocking hinge turning is disposed at a side edge on an opposite end side. The locking means is configured to be freely engaged/disengaged so as to block the opening operation of the second hinge means when the first hinge means is opened, and the lock means is disposed at a side edge on an opposite side across the document feeding means on a casing where the second hinge means is disposed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
