<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet conveying apparatus and an image forming apparatus capable of correcting horizontal deviation of a sheet without occurrence of jam. <P>SOLUTION: A reference guide having a reference surface is provided on a sheet conveying passage, a sheet introducing portion 103 is provided on a sheet conveying direction upstream side of the reference guide, and the sheet deviated and conveyed to an opposite side of a center side of the sheet conveying passage than the reference surface of the reference guide is guided to the reference surface side. A first conveying path part FPa forming a sheet conveying region with a conveying lower guide 27 is provided on the sheet introducing portion 103, and the first conveying path part FPa and the conveying lower guide 27 are recessed from a sheet introducing portion side end adjacent part 100KB of the sheet introducing portion 103 so that an end of a guide surface side of the sheet is deflected when the sheet is abutted to a guide surface 103a of the sheet introducing portion 103. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
