PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress color mixing of a solid-state image sensor, to improve color reproducibility, and to improve shading characteristics. SOLUTION: The solid-state image sensor 20 includes a semiconductor substrate 22 with photodiodes 26R, 26G and 26B, a device protective film 23 with a convex inner lens 28, and a color filter array with color filter layers 21R, 21G and 21B and separation walls 25 for separating the color filter layers.
