PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically select a compulsory piece by securing fairness among song competitors, in a Karaoke system with an automatic selecting function of a competition compulsory piece, which selects the compulsory piece, when singing competition is performed on the basis of a song score. SOLUTION: The song which is sung by a user is recorded in a user database (DB) by relating it to a user ID. On the basis of a user classified song history management table 76 created by obtaining the song in the song history from the user classified user DB according to each user ID with which system log-in is performed, the compulsory piece specifying means 72 specifies a common song which is related to all user IDs of song competition objects, as the compulsory piece.
