PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drift pin driving apparatus capable of driving drift pins even into horizontal members different in dimensions, the kinds of hardware, etc. and attaining operation for that with accuracy. SOLUTION: The drift pin driving apparatus has a take-in conveyor 2 arranged upstream, and a take-out conveyor 3 installed downstream. The drift pin driving apparatus 1 includes a work material conveying-holding means 100, a longitudinal pinhole positioning means 200, a drift pin preparing-selecting means 300, a drift pin insertion part lifting positioning means 400 and a drift pin charging means 500. A charging part 505 is formed as a V-groove. The pinhole center coincides with the center of a cut line, and a driving side side-face is pressed to a ruler. In this state, the horizontal member W is held and fixed to make constant a longitudinal position and a distance to the driving start position when driving the pins.
