PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an AC generator for vehicles by which a manufacturing cost of a rectifier is reduced. SOLUTION: The AC generator 1 for vehicles is equipped with: a stator 2 having a stator winding 23; and a rectifier 7 for rectifying the AC voltage induced in the stator winding 23. The rectifier 7 is equipped with a resin terminal base 73 having a terminal 74 to which an extraction line 25 of the stator winding 23 is connected. The terminal 74 has an upper portion 76 and a lower portion 77 which are arranged with a cutout portion 75 therebetween. The upper portion 76 and the lower portion 77 have the same cross-sectional shape, and part of the lower portion 77 is embedded in the terminal base 73. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
