PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recorder capable of feeding a first medium and a second medium, and capable of feeding the second medium at a satisfactory posture. SOLUTION: This recorder 100 is provided with a feed guide route (230) capable of guiding the first medium (P2) and the second medium (Q), a recording part 120 provided on the feed guide route, and for executing recording into the fed first medium (P2) and the second medium (Q) by a recording head 13, and a width-directional guide (220) provided in the feed-directional upstream of the recording part 120 when recorded, and for guiding the width direction X of the second medium (Q), and the width-directional guide (220) can be projected and retreated to/from the feed guide route (230).
