<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air treater (10) of a diffusion charging system which can inhibit the fouling of a room by increasing dust capturing efficiency and ensure the availability of sufficient dust collecting performance. <P>SOLUTION: This air treater comprises (10) a charging part (20) which electrically charges dust in the air to be treated and a dust collecting part (30) which captures the charged dust, arranged in an air passage (13).
