<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device applicable to not only a case where a cable is inserted into a routing pipe but also a case where an existing cable is pulled out from an existing wiring pipe. <P>SOLUTION: In a wire threading method for inserting a treading wire 104 into a routing pipe 102 and threading a cable 103 to the routing pipe 102 using the threading wire 104, the threading wire 104 is inserted into the routing pipe 102 while giving vibration to the threading wire 104.
