<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent oppression of disc capacity by recording the same program by a plurality of video recording apparatuses connected via a network. <P>SOLUTION: When video recording reservation information generated by an automatic video recording reservation setting part is already present in a video recording reservation information table, the video recording information is registered in a duplicated video recording information table. When another video recorder connected via the network cancels the video recording reservation information registered in the duplicated video recording information table, a video recording reservation management part stores the video recording reservation information in a video recording reservation table, and a video recording control part executes video recording based on the video recording reservation information table.
