<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotational angular position detector which can detect the rotational angular position of two rotors properly while reducing the cost. <P>SOLUTION: The rotational angular position detector 1 has three elements which can rotate while keeping a collinear relation similar to a predetermined collinear relation of the rotating field of a rotating machine 20 and the rotational speed between first and second rotors 23 and 25, wherein the ratio of difference of rotational speed between one element R1 and another element C1 or R2 out of the three elements and difference of rotational speed between another element C1 or R2 and one remaining element C2 out of the three elements is set equal to the ratio of difference of rotational speed between the rotating field and the second rotor 25 and difference of rotational speed between the second rotor 25 and the first rotor 23, the one remaining element C2 and the another element C1 or R2 are connected, respectively, with the first and second rotors 23 and 25, and the rotational angular position of one element C2 for the stator 24 of the rotating machine 20 is detected as the rotational angular position θC of two rotors by an angular position sensor 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
