PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioning apparatus capable of quickly carrying out partial heating. SOLUTION: The air conditioning apparatus 1 is provided with a first coolant circuit 11 connecting an outdoor unit 2 and an indoor unit 4. A compressor 21 is provided in the first coolant circuit 11. In the compressor 21, a discharge pipe A is composed of an electromagnetic induction heating part Q including a magnetic material. A work coil 70 is wound around the electromagnetic induction heating part Q of the discharge pipe A. A high frequency power source 60 is connected to the work coil 70, and a high frequency current can be supplied. When the high frequency current is supplied to the work coil 70, countless magnetic force lines are generated in a periphery of the work coil, an eddy current is generated in the electromagnetic induction heating part Q of the discharge pipe A, and heat is generated by the electromagnetic induction heating part Q.
