PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power-driven torque intensifier with a reaction arm switchable between a high speed-low torque mode and a low speed-high torque mode. SOLUTION: This reaction arm for a power-driven torque intensifier includes: a housing; a torque intensifier means; and a switching means for switching the torque intensifier means between a high speed-low torque operation and a low speed-high torque operation. When the reaction arm is in a first position, the torque intensifier means can be switched to the high speed-low torque operation through the switching means.
