LIVER X RECEPTOR beta-SPECIFIC RNA CO-ACTIVATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Liver X receptor β(LXRβ)-specific co-activator which is useful for screening an LXRβ-specific ligand.

SOLUTION: A polynucleotide is disclosed which has a base sequence having activity of a Liver X receptor β-specific co-activator enhanced with a random hexamer primer using total RNA of mouse tissue as a template by RT-PCR and PCR, or a polynucletide which is hybridized with the complementary sequence of the base sequence under a stringent condition and functions as a co-activator of LXRβ.
