<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exclude such possibility that an outsider enters a security area without permission by illegally using a lost or stolen card, and to reduce any labor to be imposed on the authentication of an entry trial person who tries to enter the security area. <P>SOLUTION: An entry candidate 300 calls a resident 200 from an interphone slave device 1 through an interphone master device 2, and whether or not the resident 200 permits the entry candidate 300 to enter a room is determined, and when the entry is permitted, a camera mounted on the interphone salve device 1 photographs the face section of the entry candidate 300 to acquire face image information, and the face image information is stored in a data storage device 3 as face image information for collation with an expiration date, and an entry/exit authentication device 4 unlocks an electric lock 5.
