<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing device, capable of surely detecting or diagnosing a device path failure. <P>SOLUTION: The information processing device comprises a storage means 2 and a device path diagnostic means 3. The storage means 2 stores connecting states at the start of a system of a plurality of device paths connecting a central processing unit 10 which controls the whole system with a peripheral device 50 as device configuration state information 21 in association with the peripheral device 50. The device path diagnostic means 3 starts at the start of the system, reads the device configuration state information 21 from the storage means 2, and diagnoses a connection failure when the connecting state of at least one of the plurality of device paths is abnormal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
