<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an energy-saving solenoid valve drive device allowing improved triggering of the solenoid valve and simplified determination of a valve armature position. <P>SOLUTION: The solenoid valve drive device 10 includes: a magnetic armature 18 axially movable between a reference position and a start position; a first magnetic coil 12 moving the magnetic armature 18 from the reference position to the start position in a started state; and at least one of additional magnetic coils 14, 16 holding the magnetic armature 18 at the start position in the started state.
