<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep a housed bar-shaped article in an immobile state even if abrupt vibration or an impact is applied at the time of transport, and to prevent the breakage or damage of the bar-shaped article from occurring by absorbing and alleviating the impact. <P>SOLUTION: On the bottom plate 20 in a box body 2 equipped with a lid plate 3, a laying plate 4 on which a plurality of supporting walls 41 are projected is installed. On the laying plate 4, a row 8 of recessed grooves in order to keep bar-shaped articles 1 in a sideway-fallen state is formed by forming the recessed grooves 44 by notching the peak of each supporting wall 41 at a plurality of locations. On the laying plate 4, a plurality of partitioning plates 5 are arranged in a manner to cross each supporting wall 41. On the laying plate 4, a row 9 of engaging grooves with which lower ends of the partitioning plates 5 are engaged are formed in parallel with the row of each recessed groove by forming the engaging grooves 7 by notching by a groove width which is adjusted to the thickness of the partitioning plate 5 at a plurality of locations on the top of each supporting wall 41.
