摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device using a light-emitting diode as a light source in which the light source can be housed efficiently even if a substrate area increases, taking into consideration the heat radiation of the light-emitting diode. <P>SOLUTION: The light-emitting diode is arranged on a flexible substrate and a wiring board is formed, and the wiring board is formed larger than an incident face of a light-guide plate and is arranged so as to be opposed to the light guide plate incident face. The light guide plate and the wiring board are housed in the housing case, and a slit is installed on the wiring board capable of bending and the wiring board is housed by bending in the housing case.
