<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a near-field light condensing element which generates near-field light in a more minute area. <P>SOLUTION: The near-field light condensing element, in which a plurality of layers having a tapered shape are laminated toward an emission face B from an incident face A, condenses light from the incident face A inside a propagation layer 2 which propagates light contained in the plurality of layers, and emits it from the emission face B as near-field light. Side faces of plurality of layers connecting both ends of the incident face A and both ends of the emission face B respectively are set as a first face C and a second face D, and the emission face B is inclined so as to have a prescribed angle to the incident face A from the second page D side toward the first face C side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
