PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correspond to a movement of body of an user and to obtain a stable measurement result from a plurality of sensors. SOLUTION: A portable terminal device 1 having three pulse measurement sensors 64a/64b/64c for measuring a pulse detects a device holding state of the user by an acceleration sensor portion 66 and a tilt sensor portion 67, and corresponding to the detected holding state, a sensor selection portion 17 selects a pulse measurement sensor to be used for measurement among three pulse measurement sensors 64a/64b/64c.
