PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal distributor which reduces the work load when distributing many signals to many terminals. SOLUTION: The signal distributor distributes p pieces of input signals to m pieces of output terminals, and includes: a matrix part 111 including at least (p×m) pieces of switches; and a check part 109 for checking states of switches in the matrix part in a check mode wherein input signals are disconnected. Furthermore, the signal distributor includes: a user interface part 101 which displays a picture configured so that a desired switch state of the matrix part can be selected; and a control part 107 which controls the matrix part so as to achieve a desired switch state and controls check part so as to check whether switches of the matrix part are in the desired switch state.
