摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a darkened acrylic viscoelastic layer having sufficient dimness, without impairing productivity while maintaining viscoelastic characteristics. SOLUTION: The method for producing a darkened acrylic viscoelastic layer comprises polymerizing an acrylic monomer composition containing a coloring material or a partially polymerized composition thereof by use of both a photopolymerization reaction using a photopolymerization initiator which is cleaved by active energy beam and a redox polymerization reaction by the effect of oxidizing agent and reducing agent. In the combined use of the photopolymerization reaction using the photopolymerization initiator which is cleaved by active energy beam and the redox polymerization reaction by the effect of oxidizing agent and reducing agent, both the photopolymerization reaction and the redox polymerization reaction may be progressed by irradiating an acrylic monomer composition containing the photopolymerization initiator which is cleaved by active energy beam, the oxidizing agent, the reducing agent and the coloring material or a partially polymerized composition thereof with active energy beam.
