PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment provided with an optical disk device with reduced thickness with satisfactory mechanical strength. SOLUTION: The electronic equipment includes a case 21, an optical disk device 25 housed inside the case 21. The optical disk device 25 includes a disk tray 33, a cover 35, a reciprocation mechanism, a driving part 37, and an optical head 38. The cover 35 has a flat plate part 51, an aperture part 52, a wall part 53 and an open part 54. The flat panel part 51 is opposed to face one surface of the disk tray 33 and has a frame shape corresponding to each side part of the disk tray 33. The open part 52 is provided at the center of the flat panel part 51. The wall part 53 is erected from an outer peripheral part of the flat panel part 51, while surrounds periphery excluding a front part of the disk tray 33.
