PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reverse-inclination lining structure of a furnace, which prevents a deviation or slippage of bricks from occurring in furnace construction due to a process of reverse-inclination-piling a part or all of the lining bricks in a straight body part of the furnace, facilitates the construction of the furnace and shortens an execution period of time. SOLUTION: The reverse-inclination lining structure of the furnace is a structure of having piled up first lining bricks 6a so that the center axis in a first thickness direction of the first lining bricks 6a in the straight body part 6 is located in between an axis in a first height direction extending toward a height direction along the iron shell face 1a from a furnace bottom 4 to a throat 8 and an axis in a vertical direction with respect to the iron shell face 1a, on the iron shell face 1a of the straight body part 6.
