PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle photographed image display device capable of automatically displaying an outside image indicating the outside of a vehicle when it is required by a driver. SOLUTION: A difference image indicating difference of the two outside images about that time before starting traveling at starting of the outside images obtained by photographing the outside of the vehicle 6 by a camera 5 in time series is determined, and it is determined whether or not a movable body exists at the outside based on the determined difference image. When the movable body exists, a linear line component is detected from the determined difference image, and it is determined whether or not the detected linear line component has length of predetermined length or longer. When the detected linear line component has length of less than predetermined length, since the movement existing at the outside is the movable body other than the vehicle such as a pedestrian and a bicycle, the outside image photographed by the camera 5 is displayed on a display 2 provided in the vehicle 6. Whereas, when the movable body does not exist or the movable body is the other vehicle, the outside image is not displayed and a map image given from a car navigation device 4 is displayed on the display 2.
