<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illuminating device having a fluorescent lamp, a displaying device including the same and a light diffusion film, capable of improving a color quantity of a high speed animation characteristic. <P>SOLUTION: This illuminating device has the fluorescent lamps 40a-40d. A phosphor layer 10a having blue and red phosphors is formed on an inner surface of a fluorescent lamp tube. A layer 10b of a green phosphor with Eu<SP>2+</SP>or Ce<SP>3+</SP>as the light emitting center, is formed on an outside surface of the fluorescent lamp tube. The green phosphor is excited by the blue light emitted from the blue phosphor. The white light is emitted by a color mixture of the blue light, the red light and the green light. The phosphor layer 10b is formed on a diffusion plate, and may be formed separately from the fluorescent lamp tube. Instead of the phosphor layer 10b, the light diffusion film of forming the green phosphor on a transparent sheet may be formed separately from the fluorescent lamp tube. The green phosphor being 0.2ms or less in 1/10 afterglow time is desirably used. The illuminating device is suitable for the back light of a liquid crystal displaying device for displaying a high speed animation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
