<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio device capable of suppressing deterioration in communication quality and reducing a communication load. <P>SOLUTION: The radio device 36 relays the radio communication between the radio devices 32, 40, the radio communication between the radio devices 33, 43, the radio communication between the radio devices 32, 42, and a plurality of pieces of radio communication between the radio devices 37, 38. When the number of transmission packets TXN per unit time in oneself becomes not less than a threshold Thmax, namely a reference for determining whether the quality of the radio communication has deteriorated, the radio device 36 selects a radio device to which a cancellation request for requesting the cancellation of a silent packet should be transmitted from a plurality of transmission sources and destinations in order of a larger influence to a communication band, and transmits the cancellation request to the selected radio device.
