PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a push switch mounted on an operation section of various electronic devices which includes the case that its external profile is a narrow rectangular parallelepiped shape and hardly generates a prying operation of an operating unit. SOLUTION: A recessed section of a case 20 is an approximately rectangular parallelepiped shape, and a guide projected section 22 extending in the vertical direction is arranged on an opposite inner wall surface at a short-side side viewed from upward at the recessed section. The operating unit 50 is arranged in the recessed section at a vertically movable state by connecting a hollow section 56 prepared on a flange section 55 with the guide projected section 22, an operation section 53 of the operating unit 50 is formed in a shape with a perpendicular surface rising at a position being hollow at the most inner side of the hollow section 56, and a side section 53A of the operation section 53 is succeedingly regulated by the guide projected section 22.
