PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating film excellent in the anti-contamination durability and also in the transparency, weatherability, and anti-contamination performance in the initial period in coating operation, and provide an aqueous coating material and its manufacturing method forming the coating film as described. SOLUTION: The coating film contains a polymer and silica particles, wherein the content of the silica particles is 0.5-20 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass polymer, and the water contact angle is 45°or below after a 120-hr weatherability test imposed on the coating film.
