PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noise reduction device or the like capable of detecting abnormality of a vibration detection sensor without diminishing a noise reduction effect. SOLUTION: When generating a vibration such as to reduce the noise generating in a control space P on the basis of the vibration of structure detected by an acceleration sensor 10 in the noise reduction device, a control command value calculation part 32 generates a test vibration by any of the piezo-actuator 20, generates a noise reduction wave for reducing the noise of the control space P by the test vibration by the piezo-actuator 20 except the piezo-actuator 20 generating the test vibration, estimates the vibration detected by the acceleration sensor 10 on the basis of the vibration for reducing the test vibration and the noise, and determines the abnormality of the acceleration sensor 10 on the basis of the difference between an estimate value of the vibration detected by the acceleration sensor 10 and an actual measurement value actually detected by the acceleration sensor 10.
