<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component mounting apparatus, in which electrostatic charge at a top tape lifting portion is prevented and the failure of picking up is reduced. <P>SOLUTION: In the electronic component mounting apparatus for picking up an electronic component from a tape feeder and mounting the component on a substrate, a discharger 30 is provided as an electrostatic charge neutralizing device obliquely upward on the pick up position 25 of the tape feeder. An ionized gas is sprayed on the top tape lifting portion for lifting by backwardly folding the top tape 12a covering a tape at the front edge portion of the shutter member 22 for open and close the upper space of the tape. Thus, the charge of the top tape 12a is eliminated so the electrostatic charge does not affect the electronic component when the top tape 12a is lifted, and abnormal action such as the postural disorder of the electronic component or the flying out of the electronic component from a pocket by electrostatic charge is prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
