<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the reliability of a switch by manufacturing the switch, that detects the attachment of an SD memory card, in a structure in which a wiping distance becomes long, and then, to improve the reliability of a memory card connector. <P>SOLUTION: A first detection switch 140 is formed of a movable terminal member 141 and a fixed terminal 125. The movable terminal member 141 includes an arm 145 extending from a base 142, and a contact part 146 at the tip of the arm 145. The contact part 146 includes leads 147, 148, and is formed into a horseshoe shape. The fixed terminal 125 is formed at a side plate 123 of a cover member 120 by being cut and raised, and has lugs 126, 127 and an approximately trapezoidal cross section. When the SD memory card is attached, the contact part 146 is displaced in the same direction as the bending direction of the arm 145, tips 147a, 148a of the leads 147, 148 move so as to rub the lugs 126, 127 straddling them, and the first detection switch 140 is turned on. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
