PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform transmission in correspondence to a change of an address without lowering response as much as possible when performing transmission from an image transmission apparatus. SOLUTION: The image transmission apparatus acquires a name of a user who has performed receiver setting from a server when a user A logs in and displays it inside a picture 60 in a manner that names can be selected (a user B61, a user C62, a user D63, and a user E64). After receiving a selection of the user's name from the picture 60, the image transmission apparatus acquires an address corresponding to the corresponded name and uses the address for transmission.
