PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a package for a strain sensor, which is attached to a structure component and with which good mechanical coupling enabling moving of elastic strain to an SAW substrate bonded inside the package can be obtained. SOLUTION: The package includes a base part 10 made of a strain hardened material, a central part 20 made of an annealed material for carrying glass fritted lead-throughs, and a lid part 30.
