PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure sensor capable of pressure-fitting a metal stem 10 into a metal case 9 with high load. SOLUTION: Holding parts 21a-21c having a dented outer peripheral wall are formed on the metal stem 10 to holding the metal stem 10 by inserting part of a tool when the metal stem 10 is to be pressure-fitted into the metal case 9. Such a pressure sensor can insert part of the tool into the holding parts 21a-21c to hold the metal stem 10, since the parts 21a-21c are formed on the outer peripheral wall of the metal stem 10. Since load can thus be applied to a surface forward in the pressure-fitting direction to the metal case 9 of the holding parts 21a-21c of the metal stem 10 by the part of the tool inserted into the parts 21a-21c when the metal stem 10 is to be pressure-fitted into the metal case 9, the metal stem 10 can be pressure-fitted into the metal case 9 with high load applied.
