PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal composition having a high degree of solubility of liquid crystal even when three or more kinds of dyes are combinedly used and exhibiting high order parameter and high light resistance, a liquid crystal device using the liquid crystal composition, a reflective type display material and a light modulating material. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal composition includes a liquid crystal and at least three anthraquinone dyes, wherein at least two of the anthraquinone dyes are each represented by general formula (I) (T1has an arylene group or a heteroarylene group and other specific substituent).
