PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a picture without image-quality degradation regardless of the unevenness in conveying a sheet without bringing about a substantial increase of costs in an image formation device which forms the picture on the paper conveyed by a paper conveying means. SOLUTION: The image formation device includes a movement-amount detection means 24 which images the paper conveyed by the paper conveying means 21 or the paper conveying means 21 itself at a predetermined interval and detects the movement-amount of the paper or the paper conveying means 21 itself based on the movement of a specific pattern within the imaged picture. The picture is formed on the paper by an image forming part 20 according to the movement-amount of the paper or paper conveying means detected by the movement-amount detection means 24.
