<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a text document from being associated with position expressions which are not the center of a topic when a plurality of position expressions are included in the text document. <P>SOLUTION: A position expression specification device includes: a position expression/specification degree association storage part in which the degree of specification on which the scale of an area related with certain position expressions is reflected is stored so as to be associated with the position expressions, or in which original information for calculating the degree of specification is stored; a position expression extraction part for extracting the position expressions from the input text document; and a position expression determination part for performing access to the position expression/specification degree association storage part by using each position expression extracted by the position expression extraction part as a key to acquire the degree of specification related with each position expression, and for detecting the position expressions representing the text document according to the scale of the degree of specification of each position expression. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
