PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein a signal of a predetermined frequency cannot be selectively transmitted or receiverd between power communication lines using a conventional coupler. SOLUTION: A coupler 1 connects a first power communication line 100 with a second power communication line 200. The coupler 1 comprises a receiving portion 11 for receiving a signal transmitted from the first power communication line 100, a filter portion 12 for passing selectively a signal of a predetermined frequency among the received signals by the receiving portion 11, and a transmitting portion 16 for transmitting the signal passed at the filter portion 12 to the second power communication line 200.
