PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of simply fixing a posture of a specimen piece on a specimen stand by rotating the specimen piece at 90°, 180°, or an arbitrary angle. SOLUTION: In a specimen forming device, the specimen piece is supported by a manipulator after making a specific direction of the specimen piece coincide with an intersecion line 11 made by two surfaces of a cone side-face obtained by rotating, around a manipulator rotary shaft 2, a line segment whose one end is an intersection point between the surface of the specimen 7 and the manipulator rotary shaft 2 and which is perpendicular to the specimen surface, and the sample surface; and then, the manipulator rotary shaft 2 is operated.
