PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a tray structure such that a top tray can be easily laid by correcting a level difference halfway through pushing in the top tray from the rack front even if some level difference is left in a joint between a front rack and a rear rack, in a divided serpentine type commodity storage rack. SOLUTION: In this vending machine, the serpentine type commodity storage rack stored inside a box is divided into the front rack and the rear rack, a commodity storage passage of the rack and a commodity input port opening in front of the front rack are continued, the top tray is laid, and an input commodity is fed into the commodity storage passage of each the rack through the top tray. The top tray 11B laid inside the rack astride the front rack and the rear rack is formed with laterally projecting round-shaped (nearly semicircular) tray insertion guides 11c in right and left corners of a rear part of a tray bottom plate 11a as self-alignment means correcting the joint level difference between the front rack and the rear rack, and the insertion guides 11d correct the joint level difference between the racks halfway through pushing in the top tray to allow easy laying work.
