PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reproduce a failure using a failure reproduction program even when an OS cannot be booted. SOLUTION: An external storage device 6 stores a failure reproduction program 5a for reproducing a failure in the computer 1 and a boot loader 7 for reading the failure reproduction program 5a into the computer 1. When the external storage device 6 is connected to the computer 1 (S803), and the computer 1 is rebooted (S804), the computer 1 first reads and executes the boot loader 7 (S805), and then reads the failure reproduction program 5a by the boot loader 7 to execute it (S806).
