PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent durability of a compressor from being deteriorated by suppressing an increase in the amount of coolant circulation in heating using a cooling/heating system with respect to a vending machine for cooling or heating and vending a canned beverage, and the like. SOLUTION: With a configuration for installing a resistor 30 inside a piping path returning from an outdoor heat exchanger 13 to a compressor 12, frost formation and dew condensation are prevented by maintaining evaporation temperature in the outdoor heat exchanger 13, intake pressure in heating an item storage room 10 is suppressed, and the deterioration in the durability of the compressor 12 is prevented. Moreover, when the item storage room 10 is heated, activation characteristics deterioration due to the coolant remaining in lubricating oil of the compressor 12 can be suppressed, and when the item storage room 10 is cooled, inflow of the high temperature coolant into an indoor heat exchanger 11 can be suppressed and an increase in the indoor cooling load can be suppressed.
