PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely transport an article and stop it at a predetermined stop position by solving conflicting problems that, if a gradient is strong, the article is surely conveyed, but an excessive shock is generated when stopping, and that if the gradient is weak, the shock when stopping can be restrained, but certainty of the transportation is deteriorated. SOLUTION: This device has a driver roller 20 abutting on an article W and getting rotatable, a lever member 21 swingable on a follower pestle part 25 side with a mounting part 27 as a fulcrum, and a load member 22 generating a load against swing to the lever member 21. A cam part 34 converting rotation of the driver roller 20 to swing of the lever member 21 is provided between the driver roller 20 and the follower pestle part 25 of the lever member 21.
