<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method of AFC and a control circuit for AFC, which are capable of improving accuracy of AFC control in intermittent reception in a wireless communication system such as W-CDMA (wideband code division multiple access) or the like. <P>SOLUTION: Whether AFC control employing the data of a reception path is to be performed or not is decided based on the correlation value of the reception path. The information of effectiveness determination by path correlation for each reception path is used whereby the application timing of reliability judgement of data, which becomes the base for AFC control, can be quickened and as a result, effectiveness determination on the AFC can be performed timely even at intermittent reception whereby the deterioration of accuracy of AFC can be prevented by preventing incorrect determination. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
