摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device, attaining compatibility between quick focusing and holding down of the cost. <P>SOLUTION: This imaging device includes: an imaging optical system, which receives light from an object to form an image, and whose imaging position is adjustable; an imaging part, which captures an image formed by the imaging optical system and outputs image data formed of consecutive pixel values of the respective pixels, which represents the image by a set of pixels; a difference generating part, which generates differential data formed of consecutive numerical values representing a difference by obtaining the difference between the adjacent numerical values concerning a series of pixel values constituting the image data output from the imaging part; a concentration degree measuring part, which measures the degree of concentration to the numerical value indicating a difference "0" of each numerical value constituting the differential data generated by the difference generating part; and an imaging position adjusting part for directing the imaging position of the imaging optical system to the imaging position to which the degree of concentration shows the local minimum by confirming the degree of concentration measured by the degree of concentration measuring part while adjusting the imaging position of the imaging optical system. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p>
