PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a quick change to a target shift position by facilitating shift operation to multistaged shift positions and to secure safety by preventing a sudden change of vehicle speed in the shift operation. SOLUTION: The vehicular shift control device is equipped with a transmission consisting of a first main transmission having two shift positions of high and low stages and a second main transmission having at least three or more shift positions, a sub transmission having three shift positions of high, intermediate and low stages, and a means S102 for specifying or detecting a traveling state or working state of a vehicle body. When the body is predetermined or detected during traveling by the means S103, an automatic shift position of the main transmission when the sub transmission is changed over to a high-speed position is in the intermediate shift stage (S104).
