PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable wireless device adapted so that degradation of communication performance caused by electromagnetic noise can more reliably be prevented. SOLUTION: The portable telephone unit 100 is provided with: a camera body 107; a circuit board 106 that includes partial boards 104, 105 arranged on both sides of the camera body 107; a camera shield 108 arranged close to and opposite to the rear surface of the camera body 107 (the surface opposite to the image pickup plane); a camera connection connector 110 connected to the camera body 107 and grounded in the partial board 104; a frequency limiter 111 connected to the camera shield 108 and grounded in the partial board 105; an electric-power feeder 117 provided in the partial board 105; and a matching circuit 113 that is provided in the partial board 105 and is grounded. This arrangement allows limiting frequencies which are of the frequencies of interference components discharged from the camera body 107 to the circuit board 106 and which exert adverse effects on the communication, thereby more reliably preventing the communication performance from degradation caused by electromagnetic noise.
