PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing unit for lightening a user's operation work and for enabling operation execution capable of flexibly coping with a change in a function mounting environment, and to provide an operation execution method and an operation execution program. SOLUTION: The image processing unit 100 executes prescribed processing based on operation information 51 obtained from an input image. The image processing unit 100 includes: an acquisition means 31 for analyzing the input image to obtain the operation information 51 embedded in the input image; a specifying means 32 for specifying one of or a plurality of software components processed according to the operation information 51 from the software components that are possessed by the image processing unit 100 and perform the prescribed processing, based on the operation information 51 obtained by the acquisition means 31; and an execution control means 33 for instructing the software component performing processing according to the operation information 51 specified by the specifying means 32 to perform execution.
